Danielle Fox
Executive Director
Danielle Fox has served as MORA’s Executive Director since December 2023, bringing over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, senior, and disability services. Throughout her career in both non-profit and government sectors, Danielle has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership and a commitment to innovative solutions for underserved populations.
In the non-profit sector, Danielle spearheaded a groundbreaking collaboration with Anoka County, establishing the region’s first program to provide stable housing and supportive services for individuals living with mental illness and experiencing homelessness. Most recently, as Deputy Director of Health and Human Services for Scott County, MN, Danielle oversaw over $100 million in community service delivery, focusing on behavioral health, housing and homelessness, and aging and disability services. Her leadership resulted in cost-saving measures, expanded support services, and closed service gaps for individuals with disabilities.
Among her many accomplishments, Danielle developed an intensive crisis residential program in Savage, MN, addressing a critical need for mental health care in a space designed to foster recovery and inclusivity. She conducted a two-year study that identified significant service gaps for inmates with disabilities, leading to the establishment of ongoing social work presence in the Scott County jail. Danielle also created Scott County’s first Coordinated Response team, forging formal partnerships with local law enforcement to integrate trained clinicians who support individuals with disabilities during and after interactions with law enforcement.
Danielle holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from St. Thomas University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard Business School. At MORA, she is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality services, leveraging data-driven strategies, cultivating community partnerships, and empowering her team to create meaningful impact.
Outside of her professional life, Danielle finds joy in spending time with her husband and three daughters, gardening, and tending to her chickens. Her leadership and vision continue to transform lives and inspire others across Minnesota.
