MORA Community Homes provide safe, supportive, and person-centered residential services for individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. Our homes are designed to help people live full, meaningful lives while receiving the daily support they need in a setting that truly feels like home.
MORA residential homes are located throughout the western Twin Cities metro, including Andover, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Chanhassen, Chaska, Excelsior, Eden Prairie, Plymouth, New Hope, Norwood Young America, Minnetonka, Mayer, Richfield, Shakopee, Victoria, Waconia, and surrounding communities.
With over 30 homes across Hennepin, Scott, and Carver counties, we thoughtfully match individuals based on age, abilities, gender, medical and behavioral health needs, personality, and interests. Each home develops its own sense of community through the relationships between residents, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), families, guardians, and neighbors.
Every MORA Community Home is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by trained Direct Support Professionals, with nursing and maintenance support available on-call at all times.
Our services support daily living needs such as:
Each individual receives a 24-hour care plan focused on habilitation and on increasing and maintaining physical, intellectual, emotional, and social functioning. Services are guided by each person’s individualized support plan, as identified through their MNCHOICES assessment.
Nursing & Health Services
MORA’s dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) supports our Community Homes, Adult Day Services, and Community Support Services. Nursing care goes beyond medical needs, focusing on whole-person quality of life. Learn more about nursing.

Supported Living Services (SLS)
MORA provides single-family homes for adults and older adults in more than 25 homes across the metro area. Homes typically serve 3–5 residents and offer individualized support in a shared living environment.
Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF)
MORA operates four ICF homes for adults in the west metro. Two of these homes are located on our original Victoria campus along Schutz Lake.
Youth Crisis Stabilization Homes
In partnership with the Metro Crisis Coordination Program, our youth homes provide temporary, immediate placement for children experiencing a mental health crisis. The program offers Support Professionals, a Positive Support Specialist, and nursing services while working closely with families and schools to help children stabilize and return home successfully.
Community Home services are available to individuals who have been assessed and found eligible for the Developmental Disability (DD) Waiver, with or without a co-occurring mental health diagnosis.
What sets MORA apart is our deeply individualized approach. Services are tailored to each person’s strengths, needs, and goals. We provide onsite nursing support, robust recreational programming, and strong community involvement.
Family involvement is encouraged, and we collaborate closely with guardians, case managers, and physicians to ensure residents are supported holistically. At MORA, we are committed to every person we serve — and we consider them family.
Parents, guardians, or involved family members can reach out through the Mount Olivet Rolling Acres website by visiting the Residential Services page. Interested parties will be asked to upload the potential resident’s MNCHOICES assessment and support plan as part of the intake process.
Residents must have a DD Waiver and utilize Housing Support, which covers room and board.
“Our beloved son Jack has called a MORA home his own for 10 years, and it truly feels like family. The staff and his roommates know and love him, and he’s so happy there that even when he visits us, he looks forward to going back. We choose to support MORA out of gratitude for the good life they allow our son to live.”
– Pastor Monica Hammersten, Parent, Board Member and MORA Supporter
“Mt. Olivet Rolling Acres surrounded our sister with love, compassion and support throughout her 55 years as a resident. She relied on your care every single day, and you gave her not only comfort and dignity, but also joy, friendship and a true sense of belonging.”
