Therapeutic Recreation

How We Support People With Disabilities and Mental Health Needs

At MORA, Therapeutic Recreation (TR) is all about helping people connect, grow, and have fun—in ways that honor their unique abilities and interests.

We offer a wide variety of engaging, person-centered experiences, including:

  • Bonfires under the stars
  • Boat and pontoon rides on our private lake
  • Skill-building groups like computer lab and open gym
  • Daytime and evening visits to MORA homes for individualized recreation
  • Community outings and events tailored to participant goals
  • Adapted activities designed so every person can participate fully

Our mission is to support socialization, wellness, emotional expression, physical activity, creativity, and—above all—enjoyment.
