Veteran's Program

Sometimes the Greatest Gift Is Time and Freedom

MORA Wounded Service Member Program

A Place to Rest, Reconnect, and Just Be

MORA’s Wounded Service Member Program exists for one reason: to provide a welcoming retreat where Veterans, injured service members, and Gold Star Families can relax, recreate, and reconnect.

At MORA, we believe those who have given so much deserve time and space to simply relax, with no expectations, no agenda, and no pressure.

Camp McGregor

A Peaceful Place to Heal

Surrounded by nature’s quiet beauty, guests are reminded that they are valued, supported, and never alone.

Our Wounded Service Member Program offers a free, fully accessible retreat at Camp McGregor in northern Minnesota for Veterans who have sustained physical or mental health injuries during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), as well as Gold Star Families.

Here, healing happens naturally — through connection, laughter, and time spent together.

How We Support Veterans with Physical or Mental Health Needs

Our program is built around one simple idea: sometimes the greatest gift is time and freedom. There are no mandatory sessions. No expectations. No pressure to share your story. Just a few days to have fun, relax, and forget about “life” for a while.

Veterans and families often tell us that the freedom to just be together, without structure or obligation, is what makes their experience so meaningful.

This is our way of giving back to those who have given so much to our country.
