Executive Team
Mount Olivet Rolling Acres’ Executive Team provides agency-wide support, leadership, and talent management, while ensuring quality of services in all areas.
Danielle Fox
Executive Director
Danielle Fox joined MORA in December of 2023 as Executive Director. Danielle has served for the last nine years as the Health and Human Services Deputy Director for Scott County. Danielle brings with her more than 16 years of experience in the social services field.
Joe Christenson
Chief Financial Officer and Director of Information Technology
Joe Christenson joined MORA in December, 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity Joe leads the Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management’ and Information Technology teams. Immediately prior to joining MORA, Joe served as Chief Financial Officer for nine years at two Home Health Care Companies.
Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and MBA in Finance. Joe began his career working in Commercial Banking and served in Senior Management and Finance roles in two other companies prior to his engagement with Home Health Care. Joe is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Mt. Olivet and he is deeply aligned with our Mission, Vision and Values. Joe brings an analytical and collaborative management style to his areas of responsibility.
Katie Elleraas
Sr. Director of Advancement
Katie Elleraas joined MORA in June of 2024 as Sr. Director of Advancement. She has 16 years of experience as a social worker, working in waivers, care coordination, Targeted Case Management, child and adult services. Post her time working as a social worker, she completed her MPA and went on to help develop outcomes, initiatives and new opportunities focusing on health and human services and law enforcement with the agencies she served. At MORA, Katie will be helping to advance quality improvement, partnership efficiencies, system infrastructure improvements and expenditure savings.
Katie believes in the equality and inclusion of all people along with the power of kindness to others. Keeping these practices in mind when making strategic decisions has served her in keeping a collaborative and cooperative perspective, espeically with tough choices. Personally, Katie keeps busy with kids in baseball, kids in karate, kids in swimming and kids in constant motion!
Donna Kuller
Program Director, Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP)
Donna Kuller joined Mount Olivet Rolling Acres as the Psychiatric Nurse for the Metro Crisis Coordination Program in March of 2000. She has over 37 years of experience in the health care industry, beginning in the hospital setting, later transitioning to the I/DD sector holding positions with Homeward Bound Inc. as their triage nurse, nurse case manager/QMRP, and nursing supervisor. Donna is a care-driven, with a focus on supporting wellness in both her professional and personal life. She is a member of the MN Developmental Disabilities Nursing Association, is FEMA trained as a member of the Eden Prairie’s Community Response Team, a member of the Hennepin County Emergency Management Team, and part of MORA’s Safety Committee. She champions a positive innovative focus to drive success within each person’s abilities.
Julie Olson
Senior Director of Case Management
Julie Olson joined MORA in 2016, starting up the Case Management program. Since she was young, she has had a passion for helping people, leading to over 25 years’ experience working in the social services industry. Julie has worked in vocational settings assisting individuals with disabilities find employment, as a county waiver case manager, and in residential leadership. Her passion for quality and collaborative style ensures her team delivers high quality person-centered case management to meet the needs of those served by Case Management.
Stacy Richards
Director of Human Resources
Stacy Richards joined MORA in December of 2003. She has more than 15 years of experience as a Human Resources Professional. Prior to joining MORA, she was a Professional Photographer and has a Professional Photography degree, as well as a Business Management degree.
Stacy brings her creativity, enthusiasm, and high-energy to MORA. She is responsible for overseeing hiring, training of employees, personnel issues, workers compensation, and employee benefits. Stacy enjoys spending time with family and friends, spending time at the cabin, traveling and experiencing life’s adventures..
Tina Stofferahn
Vice President of Direct Services
Tina Stofferahn joined MORA in January 2024 as Vice President of Direct Services, and she has over 15 years of experience in the disability services industry, most recently serving as Vice President of Employment Services at Opportunity Services. She brings expertise in day, employment, and residential services. In her role with MORA, Tina leads the residential, nursing, recreation, and adult day services teams.
Tina has a passion for legislative advocacy, disability education, and community integration and she takes a collaborative and strategic approach to leadership and operations. In her free time, Tina enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, traveling, and playing with her two golden retrievers.
Stephen Blair Venable
Outside Advisor to Executive Director & Executive Leadership Team
Stephen Blair Venable is a management consultant who works with CEOs and senior leadership teams in developing and executing multi-disciplinary strategies to improve organizational outcomes. He is also a master trainer, and he has trained his clients’ employees in nine countries across Europe and Asia. He is the President and Founder of Minneapolis-based Surgo Consulting Facilitation & Training (SurgoConsulting.com).
Prior to becoming a management consultant, Stephen had a very diverse set of professional experiences. He worked as a corporate attorney—practicing law at two of Minnesota’s most prestigious law firms; he ran a nonprofit organization where he brokered supplier relationships between Minnesota’s largest corporations and some 300 minority-owned businesses across the Upper Midwest; and he was a member of a Congressional Trade Delegation to the Middle East.
Stephen is a seasoned public speaker and has been featured on KARE 11 News, Minnesota Public Radio, WCCO Radio, the KMSP FOX 9 Morning Show, and various other television and radio programs.
Stephen holds a law degree from the Law School of the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.A. degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Karen Brantner
Senior Program Director, Residential
Karen Brantner joined Mount Olivet Rolling Acres in June of 1994. She has more than 30 years of experience in the human services field. Prior to joining MORA, she worked with the elderly population at a Covenant Senior Living Community in Golden Valley, MN. Karen’s focus is on Intermediate Care Facilitates, group homes, in-home services, adult day services, and crisis services. She brings a strong sense of advocates for clients and helps MORA serve our clients more efficiently and at the highest quality level.
Shannon Gourley
Manager of Case Management- Dakota and Anoka counties
Shannon Gourley joined MORA in September of 2017 as a case manager for our Hennepin County team. Shannon then went on to help in expanding our case management department by working on both our Dakota county and Anoka county teams. Shannon was a case management supervisor for nearly 5 years before moving into the Manager role in the Fall of 2023. Shannon has a background in K12 special education and school administration and worked in both public and charter schools for years before coming to MORA.
Shannon lives with her family in NE Minneapolis. She enjoys going bike riding, traveling, doing puzzles and spending time outside.
Bryce Hansen
Manager of Case Management- Hennepin County, Case Management
Bryce joined MORA in 2017 as a contracted case manager for Hennepin County. He became a supervisor in 2019 and moved to the role of manager in 2024. Bryce was a direct support professional and program lead prior to joining MORA. He has both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Minnesota. Bryce strongly aspires to help others improve their lives from a holistic perspective. He is an avid lover of cats!
Tyson Hollins
Program Director, Residential
Tyson Hollins joined MORA in May of 2022 as a Program Director. Tyson began his career as a DSP, then an APM, and finally a PM at another residential company serving individuals. Tyson graduated from college with a BA degree in Sociology and two MA’s in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletics.
Tyson has a high level of commitment and passion in advocating for MORA and the clients served. His focus is the client’s needs, wants, and desires, person-centered approach, working with a highly effective team, and being recognized as providing the highest quality services in the metro.
Betsy Koss
Quality Enhancement Lead, Case Management
Betsy Koss has a long tenure at MORA, having worked in the residential homes and most recently in the case management department. Throughout her career, Betsy has gained extensive experience in the social services sector, working with various residential providers, supervising a day support services program, case management, and conducting MnCHOICES assessments. Betsy places a high value on the relationships she has cultivated with individuals over the years and enjoys supporting people as they strive to achieve their goals and lead a fulfilling life of their choosing.
Katie Mika
Senior Program Director, Residential & Adult Day Services (ADS)

Katie Mika joined MORA in 2011 and comes with a degree in Life Science Education and a passion to help those with developmental disabilities. Prior to working at MORA, Katie volunteered with Special Olympics MN. Katie works with leaders in MORA residential programs and Adult Day Services. She leads the Leadership Development Program and the Appreciation and Recognition Committee. Katie’s main focuses are advocacy for clients’ wants and needs and providing staff with the tools to be great direct service professionals.
Karin Nagel
Positive Support Specialist Team Supervisor, MCCP
Karin Nagel has been with Mt. Olivet Rolling Acres (MORA) for 24 years. Her employment began with us as a Behavior Analyst for the Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP), a position she held for 16 years providing behavioral assessment and training for individuals across the 7-county metro area. Since 2016 she has continued to offer her skill, positivity, and determination for success to the MCCP Team as the supervisor and mentor of the Positive Support Specialists. Through the various positions she’s held over 34 years in the field, Karin has extensive experience in a variety of vocational and residential settings serving individuals with significant behavioral needs.
Beth Nord
Information and Referral Supervisor, Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP)
Beth Nord started with MORA in 1994 working as a DSP on the Victoria campus. Since then, she has worked for MORA as a Program Coordinator, Program Supervisor, and as a Behavior Analyst with Metro Crisis Coordination Program. Currently, Beth is supervising the ever-growing crisis bed system through MCCP and working with the counties to help this system continue to thrive.
Megan Ruschmeier
Health Services Manager
Megan Ruschmeier joined MORA as a DSP in 2014. She continued to work as a Medical Specialist at the Ridge Road home while completing nursing school. She joined MORA’s nursing team in 2018 and later became Health Services Director in 2022. Megan is a Registered Nurse with prior experience as a paramedic. Megan values quality care for clients that balances personal choice and optimal health.

Program Director, Residential
Angela Tupy joned MORA in March 2024 as Residential Program Director.
Tina Scheving
Case Manager Lead Supervisor, Case Management
Tina Scheving joined MORA in 2016 and is currently a Lead Case Management Supervisor for MORA’s Anoka County contract, previous Supervisor experience in Hennepin and Dakota County.
Maria Schugel
Program Director, Adult Day Services
Maria Schugel joined MORA in 2004 and currently oversees our Adult Day Services and Community Supports programs. She has a background in Therapeutic Recreation and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
Frances Stevenson
Communications & Outreach Manager
Frances Stevenson joined MORA in 2023 as the Communications and Outreach Manager. Frances oversees internal and external communications and marketing at MORA including branding, newsletters, websites, and more. She comes from a background in nonprofit communications and community journalism.
Wayde Whelan
Senior Program Director, Residential
Wayde Whelan joined Mount Olivet Rolling Acres in 1996 as a Direct Support Professional. Wayde came straight to MORA from college and has spent his entire professional career with MORA. Wayde oversees residential programs, MORA facilities/services, capital projects and the maintenance department. His focus is the client’s needs, staff development, and providing the highest quality services as an organization to make a difference in the lives of those MORA serves.

Andy Dressel is the Sr. Staff Accountant for Mount Olivet Rolling Acres.
Board of Directors
MORA’s Board provides oversight, governance and strategic support of our mission, vision and values. Our Board has an impressive record of service, with a rich and varied experience set in health and human services, law, finance, human resources and operations. They understand the needs of the people we serve as many of them have lived experience with a family member who has a disability. We are grateful for their passionate support and service.
Elizabeth Psihos, Board Chairperson
Beth is a graduate of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. She has spent her career in technology in many different industries including Insurance, Banking, Advertising, and Testing and spent the last 10 years at Thomson Reuters.
Beth has held many leadership positions, most recently as the CTO for Westlaw Business, a Thomson Reuters company. She currently consults with other businesses. Beth is also on the Board of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.
Pastor David Lose, Vice Chairperson
Pastor Lose started his tenure as the ninth senior pastor of Mount Olivet in July of 2017. Prior to arriving at Mount Olivet, he was the president of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (2014-2017) and previously was a member of the faculty of Luther Seminary (St. Paul, MN; 2000-2014).
Pastor Lose looks forward to building on Mount Olivet’s distinguished history and present strengths in order to extend the church’s role in serving as a leading light in the greater church and community of how Christian faith leads to deepened commitment to care for all of God’s children.
Kris Teigen, Secretary
Kris works as Director of Business Development at Lifesprk, a home care provider in Minnesota.
Jennifer Neu, Treasurer
Jennifer is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Marketing. She has also earned a Master of Business Administration from University of Minnesota in Finance and Information Systems. She has spent her career in all functional areas of Finance within the retail and banking sectors driving transformation through technology. She is passionate about empowering others to gain financial health and independence.
Jennifer has held many leadership positions, most recently as Director of Finance & Real Estate IT for Bath & Body Works. She is also on the Leadership Council for Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
Deb Baxter
Deb brings over 30 years of human resources leadership experience to her role on the Board’s HR committee. She has led global HR organizations and has coached executive teams and business leaders. Driving an organization’s people strategy to enable business growth and success are hallmarks of her career in the food and medical industries. Accomplishments include development of top talent, succession planning, building inclusive cultures and nurturing a corporate culture of high employee engagement and retention. Recently, Deb has started a Human Resource consulting practice.
Deb lives in Excelsior and has two children and three grandchildren. Deb enjoys all sports, traveling and spending time at her cabin in northern Minnesota.
Heidi Droegemueller
Heidi joined the MORA Board of Directors in August 2023.
Sue Durkin
Sue brings 38 years of management experience at Allina Health Systems/Abbott Northwestern Hospital in operations as a senior leader. She has led teams of 500 employees and has overseen clinical and regulatory functions. Her signature skills include project management, coaching and building effective teams.
Now in retirement, she’s enjoying spending time with her grandchildren, volunteering as a Wish Granter for Make A Wish and providing leadership development and coaching for nonprofit organizations. Sue is a member of the Audit and HR Committees.
Bruce Ensrud
Bruce is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College. He joined Thrivent Financial in 1992 and currently works in a values-based financial planning practice in Edina. Bruce serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, The Sheridan Story and the Collegeville Institute.
Sue Ferguson
Sue Ferguson has 28 years of experience in the senior living and health care industry and currently serves as Corporate Sales & Marketing Director at Ebenezer, which is part of Fairview Health Services. She has served in leadership roles at Ecumen, Walker Methodist as well as owning her own consulting firm to support other senior living providers. Sue graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a double major in Business and Psychology.
Pastor Monica Hammersten
As a lifelong member of Mt Olivet, Monica was thrilled to join the pastoral staff after her graduation from Luther Seminary in 2008. She loves the never-ending variety that her work brings; from visiting people in the hospital to helping kids of all ages know that God loves them exactly as they are. Two of her greatest joys are spending every Thursday event with people with disabilities.
A mother of 3 sons, she also enjoys walking the lakes or cooking up a storm for her family. Monica serves on the Volunteer Committee
Drew Henry
Drew Henry is a strategic communications professional with a diverse background in helping organizations be understood by their core audiences. Currently managing communications for one of Xcel Energy, Inc.’s largest business divisions, over 10 years he has led efforts in numerous arenas including public policy advocacy, corporate communications and crisis communications for both non-profit and for-profit groups. Prior to joining Xcel Energy he served as Communications Director for the trade association representing Minnesota residential disability service providers. Drew’s issue-oriented values have guided his work advocating for person-centered support for people with disabilities, access to high quality early childhood education, and carbon-free energy. He joined the MORA board in 2020.
Drew has a BA in History from Yale University and lives in his hometown of St. Paul with his wife, two young children and dog Humphrey.
Amy Hewitt, Ph.D
Amy Hewitt, Ph.D. has an extensive background in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has worked in various positions over the past 38 years to improve community inclusion and quality of life for children and adults with disabilities and their families. Her career began as a Direct Support Professional and she currently employs DSPs to support her brother-in-law. She is the Director of the University of Minnesota’s Institute on Community Integration and conducts research, evaluation, and demonstration projects about community services for children, youth, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has authored numerous journal articles, curriculum, technical reports, including a book entitled, Staff Recruitment, Retention and Training. Dr. Hewitt is on the editorial board of Inclusion and associate editor of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, both journals of the AAIDD. She is a Past President of the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD) and Past President of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD).
Kyle Johnson
Kyle resides in Minneapolis with his wife Hannah and family. He spent 15 years working in social services in a variety of positions most of which were working with clients with Developmental Disabilities. Kyle worked at Rolling Acres for 9 years in every position from Overnight Staff to Program Supervisor. Kyle is a life long member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church and currently an Associate Vice President of Northland Securities.
Michael Lane
Michael joined the MORA Board of Directors in August 2023.
Nancy Nash
As a lifelong member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Nancy joined the Church staff in 1988 as a facilities coordinator and currently serves as their Sr. Director of Operations. Her responsibilities include; hiring, support, evaluation and retention of staff, oversight of developing and implementing programs and services as well as oversight to the legal, risk management, facilities and property of the Church, Cathedral of the Pines and Conference and Retreat Center. Nancy serves on the HR Committee.
Katherine Rotmil
Katherine joined the MORA Board of Directors in February 2023.
