Harold “Chip” Tesch has been part of our community for a very long time, and over the years, he’s created countless memories and friendships along the way. Today, Chip lives in Cottage Two, where life has come full circle in more ways than one.

One of the special connections Chip shares is with Carol, a staff member who works in Cottage Two. Long before they were spending their days together here, the two were actually neighbors growing up. Carol lived just down the street from Chip during their childhood years, and now they enjoy reminiscing about old memories and sharing stories from the past.
This week, the pair took a drive through their old neighborhood, passing by the houses where they grew up. The trip sparked laughter, memories, and meaningful conversations about the people and places that shaped their lives. Moments like these remind us how powerful connections can be and how small the world sometimes feels.
Chip’s journey within our community has also come full circle. He first came to us from St. Peters and moved into the “Hill House.” Later, he made his home at Birch Bluff, and now he has settled into Cottage Two. Through every chapter, Chip has remained a familiar and valued part of our family.
We are grateful for the many years Chip has shared with us and for the friendships that continue to make each day meaningful.
