On October 25, 2026, MORA welcomed artists, families, sponsors, board members, staff, supporters, and new friends to Masterpieces at the Manor for an afternoon filled with creativity, connection, and celebration. With more than 50 MORA artists showcasing their artwork, the event was a wonderful success and a beautiful reminder of the talent and individuality of the people we serve.
From the moment guests arrived, the room was filled with warmth and excitement. Artists had the opportunity to see their creations displayed, share their talents, and celebrate their accomplishments with the people who matter most to them. We were especially delighted to welcome guests who were discovering MORA for the first time and introducing them to the creativity, relationships, and community that make MORA special.
The afternoon featured hors d’oeuvres, beverages, desserts, games, a silent auction, and a photo booth. But the true highlight was seeing the artists take center stage and watching guests connect through their appreciation of the artwork on display.
More Than an Art Show
When we first envisioned Masterpieces at the Manor, we wanted it to be more than a fundraiser. We wanted to create an opportunity to celebrate our artists, showcase their unique perspectives, and invite our community to experience their talents firsthand.
Every piece of artwork told a story, and every artist brought something special to the event. Seeing their pride and excitement as their work was admired and celebrated made the afternoon especially meaningful.
Some of the most memorable moments were also the simplest: two gentlemen enthusiastically throwing their arms in the air as the artists were recognized, a resident proudly hugging a beautiful hand-knit blanket won in the silent auction, and a family member sharing how proud she was to see her loved one’s talents recognized.
These are the moments that capture the heart of Masterpieces at the Manor. They remind us that everyone deserves opportunities to explore their interests, express themselves, share their gifts, and feel celebrated for who they are.
A Community That Makes It Possible
The success of Masterpieces at the Manor would not have been possible without the many people who brought the event to life.
A special thank-you goes to our Development Team, event committee, staff volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time, creativity, and energy. From planning the event, gathering auction items, leading painting classes, and coordinating artists to hanging artwork, welcoming guests, managing logistics, capturing photos, and solving the countless behind-the-scenes challenges, your efforts made a lasting difference.
We are also grateful to the staff who brought residents to enjoy the celebration and those who attended simply to show their support. Your presence helped make the day special for our artists and demonstrated the power of coming together as a community.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who helped create an environment where artists felt celebrated, guests felt welcome, and people left with a deeper connection to MORA.
Celebrating What Matters Most
Since the event, one message has come through again and again: people felt the warmth, joy, and sense of community in the room.
That is what makes Masterpieces at the Manor so meaningful. The opportunities we celebrated are made possible every day through the care, encouragement, and support that help people discover their interests, try new things, build relationships, and find joy in their communities.
Events come and go, but what people remember is how they felt. On October 25, people felt connected, appreciated, inspired, and welcomed. Our artists were celebrated, their talents were recognized, and our community came together in a way that will stay with us long after the artwork has been taken home.
We invite you to experience the joy of Masterpieces at the Manor for yourself! Explore the event photos and watch the video to see some of the wonderful moments that made the day so special.
From the incredible artwork to the smiles, laughter, and connections throughout the event, we’re excited to share photos from the afternoon!
